MYTHICS NAMED RESELLER FOR ORACLE’S U.S. FEDERAL GOVERNMENT SMARTBUY INITIATIVE
GAITHERSBURG, MD May 13, 2005 – Mythics, Inc., an end-to-end Oracle ® information systems solution provider to Federal, State and Local Government Agencies, Health Care and Higher Education Facilities as well as General Business Customers and a Certified Partner in the Oracle ® PartnerNetwork, has been named as a participating Oracle ® reseller for Oracle’s SmartBUY agreement with the U.S. Federal Government.
The Office of Management and Budget (OMB), General Services Administration (GSA) and Department of Defense (DoD) on April 26 announced a government-wide SmartBUY agreement with Oracle USA, Inc . The SmartBUY Office implemented the agreement as an enhancement to the DoD Enterprise Software Initiative currently managed by the Army Small Computer Program and Army Contracting Agency ITEC4.
The agreement provides significant savings on Oracle ® databases, application servers, associated options and Oracle ® applications for government agencies. In addition, the agreement streamlines the acquisition of Oracle ® products throughout the Federal Government, providing significant benefits to the acquisition and procurement community.

Under the agreement, Mythics can provide government-wide enterprise pricing for Oracle ® database, application server and associated options; maintenance; training; consulting services; and better pricing for applications. This agreement allows any federal agency to enter into license agreements for Oracle ® software through Mythics, enabling cost savings for standardized technology architectures.
